New Coach Hired

Upon the firing of Jeff Genyck as head coach, EMU athletic director James Ralph has pegged Tim Kay to take over the struggling program. Kay was formally the defensive coordinator at Michigan State, where he also coached linebackers. Kay got his start at coaching at Syracuse University as a graduate assistant under the now fired Greg Robinson. Kay then moved onto Cincinnati to coach linebackers under then coach Mark Dantonio and followed him to Michigan State as defensive coordinator, where he has served for the past 2 seasons.
